Test Banks

  1. I know that test banks have been talked about all over the place so I'm sorry that this is redundant. For this semester, my teacher changed to a new book by an entirely different publisher. If I got the test bank from the old text book is that considered cheating? It's cheaper than med surg success book and it shouldn't be the same as it's a different book. Normally I would say yes it's cheating if it's the same book being used in class but since it's not I don't know.
    thanks for any answers.

Why not ask your instructor that question??

I could but I'm afraid she'll think it's cheating and assume I've been cheating. I guess it's best to just not get it.

The problem is that your instructor is not required to use test bank questions from your current book. She may use copies of tests from last year (old test book). You purchase the test bank from last year's book and score 100% because you knew all the answers. Is that still cheating? It would be the same as you getting a copy of a test from a former student.

Thanks for the reply. I assumed our teachers had to make test based on the new book.
