Re: TEAS EXAM: I failed...Anyone take it with some advice?
hi,
I took the TEAS exam the same week that I decided to apply for the nursing program. Since I'd never heard about this exam and I didn't have much time to prepare, I did some research on the net. I was able to find a website with a free review. I can't remember the exact address, but just try to google it. There was no time for me to order a review book. I also searched for forums discussing the exam questions. You'll actually discover some on this website, which is how I found this site to begin with.
If you do fairly well on English and Math, concentrate your efforts into practicing the science section. That's what I did. I hadn't taken physics, or chemistry in a while. I ended up getting an 85% in the science section without doing any other reviewing except for what I discussed. From what I read, the questions remain fairly the same, just a different order. But I've never retaken the exam, so don't quote me.
Good luck on your retake.
