Taking Excelsior Exams-Micro/ A&P-need advice

Hello!
I just took the Excelsior Micro exam in May. I would NOT recommend buying the suggested materials other than the course guide (it has a exam content outline). I bought everything suggested, and ended up using Cliffs Review and Lisa Arends notes since I was running out of time. Many suggest using TCN Microbiology too. I took the practice exams online, got a 60 then a 68, doubted my ability and ended up with a A on the actual test. I will say you have to have a good understanding of the concepts and be able to apply them as opposed to simply memorizing stuff. Hope this helps out....
