Hi,
A few of my classmates wanted to start a study group and we are not sure how to conduct it. Basically we just want to meet up each time, one day before the test, to review questions/notes. Does anyone have good suggestions to form that kinda study group? So far we have 6 of us.
Thanks!

Your study group is whatever you decide you want to make of it. The study group I was in when I was in nursing school was composed of 5 people. We met once a week in one of our homes. At the time we divided up the objectives that we had to study during the next week. We were each responsible for writing in depth answers to the objectives we were assigned or volunteered to take. When we met the next week in our group meeting we sat in a group and discussed and shared our information with each other. Then, we went out to a movie or had dinner.

stop at 6, that is almost too many. I have a group and we review notes, ask each other questions on stuff that needs to be memorized and NCLEX book questions (or go through the cd for your book, that usually has NCLEX questions).
Good luck. And seriously, NCLEX books have been my greatest friend with study groups. Ask the question, argue about what you think the answer is and then read the rationale for all the answers. Really helps you learn how to think nursing test style.
Good luck!
