I'm an lpn student and will be starting my clinicals in two weeks. I would like to purchase a student nurse liability policy. Does anyone have any links or suggestions on companies to consider?
I live in Indiana. Are there any other Indiana students who can give me suggestions?
Thank you

I'm not from Indiana, but the nursing school I'm in suggested we get our insurance through this company. https://www.proliability.com/

If you are a member of the NSNA (national student nursing association), the NSO insurance is only 20.00. But before you shell out the money, check with your school. Last year the NSO insurance was fine for our program. This year they made some sort of deal with an insurance company and we were REQUIRED to buy the school sponsored insurance. Whether or not we already had the NSO.

I have the NSO. I was able to go online, pay by credit card, and they mailed me my proof of insurance in about 2 weeks. They will also fax it if you need it sooner.

Ours was included automatically in our tuition. I am not sure who we even had it through.

We have to carry major medical health coverage.....I live alone, so my policy is just for me at 200 bucks every 2 months. Is this what you mean, or are you talking about clinical practice insurance? Our clinical insurance is included in tuition.
