Statistics/Summer Course Question

  1. I am looking at taking statistics as a summer course, hoping to make it a little easier to focus on the nursing classes in the fall semester.
Has anyone taken this in the summer (5 week course meeting 2x/w, 3hours per), and if so, how bad was it?

Wow--I did this just last summer--an online course--it was tough!! Luckily I am pretty good at math, so I did pull out an "A" in the course, but it wasn't easy. I think a real "live" course would be better--an instructor to explain things, and answer questions.

    Good luck!!

I'm currently taking it as a night course. It's very difficult -- so you will probably benefit from taking it apart from the rest of your courses. Summer courses are difficult because they tend to be so compressed and are easy to get behind in. As long as you are able to keep up with the reading and do a lot of the practice exercises, you should be fine.

    Thanks for the input.
I thought summer might work better, since it would be the only course I'd be taking.
    I appreciate all the comments
