Starting on Monday

I am so nervous about starting on Monday! I know this is what I want to do and what I have been working so hard for... but its here!! I am feeling such uncertainty and a fear of failing! I am in an accelerated 2 year BSN program and it is at such a fast pace (9 week terms) that I am scared I am not going to be able to keep up. Does anyone have any tips or tricks for studying? I basically learn it on Monday and am tested on it the following Monday! I am in Nursing fundamentals, intro to professional nursing and of course ATI. Any advice would be awesome! Thank you! -Ashley

Ok, I just started this past Monday. I can't really give you any specific ways to study-I have yet to find my own study style. One thing I will tell you is GET A PLANNER. You will need it. Before nursing school I've never used a planner before in my life. At orientation my professors told everyone to get one. I thought yeah, ok. I don't need it. The first day of school, after my first period class I went directly to the bookstore to pick up a planner. I wouldn't be able to keep up with everything without it.

Another thing, study daily. Don't wait til the last minute to do any assignments because I promise you it won't work.

Good luck, you'll do fine!
