Service Cancelable Loans??

Has anyone used a Service Cancelable Stafford Loan for NS? I'm thinking about applying for one and I would like some feedback from anyone who has used one or applied for one.

I have one. They're super easy to get, if you apply early enough, and you just have to work to pay it off. I've gotten $5000 over two semesters, and I just have to work one year to pay it off, anywhere in my state except for govt. agencies. Pretty good, if you ask me.

Awesome, thanks! I spoke to someone yesterday at my college's Financial Aid office and I can't apply until they get the money, which is sometime between now and the fall semester (they never know when)... so I'm questioning it.

Yeah, just keep checking with them. But if you apply for fall, then you'll also get it for spring without having to reapply. A lot of people in my class have gotten the scholarship. Just apply as early as they'll let you because the money runs out pretty fast. Good luck!
