selling a house in nursing school

  1. 0
i've noticed that a few folks are in the process of selling their houses. not to be one of those annoying nursing students who has a story about 'my mom's nephew's cousin's grandpa", but - my brother was recently at a top-of-the-line addiction treatment facility. he told me that people he met who were there for prescription drug abuse often went to open houses to raid people's medicine cabinets. as you prepare to sell your home and put valuables out of sight - move your medications, too.

wow, I would have never thought! I'm not planning to sell my home (just built 2 summers ago) but that's great information about drug abusers to know.

I don't thinnk that people should keep medicines that could be abused in their medicine chests, ever. I don't know how many times I had people confess that they stole meds -- even from their own family members (grandmom/mom). The temptation is just too great for addicts and teenagers who want to experiment.
