Requirements for BSN?

I will be graduating next year (2009) with my RN and want my BSN. I am considering taking the classes I would need to get into a BSN program. Can anyone tell me what classes that I would need FOR SURE to get into any BSN program? (I am looking at a BSN-online program) I just want to get what I can out of the way while I am attending the community college I am at now. Thank you!

do a little research. you need to check with your prospective programs. aside from anatomy, physiology and micro, the rest of the required classes can and do vary greatly.

If you want a BSN, then you must understand that what you are wanting is the degree because you already have the license. A school of higher education grants a degree. That means that you must fulfill their requirements to get their bachelor's degree. Every college or university has different requirements for admission and for their bachelor's degrees, so asking "what classes that I would need FOR SURE to get into any BSN program" is really not a question that anyone can give you an answer to. You have to look at the specific college or university you will likely apply to and see what their requirements for admission are for both the college and their school of nursing. The university I went to had specific requirements in foreign language that all students had to have regardless of what major they were in. There was a special nursing test that licensed RNs had to take and pass in order to be accepted in the nursing program and be granted lower division nursing credit because the university would not accept previous nursing school work for transfer. That was just my school's rules. The school you end up going to will have different rules I am sure. Good luck.
