recommend/good careplan book for OB and Ped?

I am starting OB/Peds this semester.

This is a totally new area as I am use to med surg and working with adult.

I tried to search on amazon but didn't have much luck (maybe I used the wrong keyword?)

and the books I have right now are mainly for med-surg.

I was wondering if there are good sources recommend to use for careplanning?

such as a good nursing diagnosis book with good interventions.

and good Pathophysiology book?

oo and any good book for interpreting lab values?

care plans for ob: maternal/newborn plans of care: guidelines for individual care, 3rd edition, by marilynn e. doenges and mary frances moorhouse

care plans for peds: the disc that comes with the book nursing care planning made incredibly easy published 2008 by lippincott williams & wilkins (the disc also has pb and psych care plans)

a good nursing diagnosis book with good interventions:

• for cross referencing medical diseases with nursing diagnoses + interventions: nursing diagnosis handbook: a guide to planning care by betty j. ackley and gail b. ladwig
  
• learn to diagnose by learning to use the nursing process. use the nanda taxonomy as a guide for picking and using diagnoses (nanda international nursing diagnoses: definitions and classifications 2009-2011 published by nanda international) and you can find nursing interventions for each nursing diagnosis in manual called nursing interventions classification (nic), by joanne mccloskey mccloskey dochterman, gloria m. bulechek, gloria m. bulechek.
  

good pathophysiology book: the best, but is not easy to read is pathophysiology: the biologic basis for disease in adults and children by kathryn l. mccance and sue e. heuther. an easier book with nursing considerations is pathophysiology: a 2-in-1 reference for nurses by springhouse, springhouse publishing company staff

any good book for interpreting lab values:

I personally love my maternity textbook - Lowdermilk's Maternity and Women's Health Care. This is published by Elsevier and I LOVE IT. I use it all the time, and I like that the care plans are scattered throughout the book (like in the sections they pertain to). It helps me because then I don't have to try to find a care plan in a book and then figure out which complication the care plan pertains to.
