Reading for classRegister Today!
- by absngirl Aug 17, '11I am starting my first year of clinicals in a ABSN program and I keep reading about the ridiculous amount of reading per night. In the past, I have always read my textbooks and taken notes as I go as a learning method. It sounds like that would just be too time consuming for the amount of reading we are going to get. Do you just read for understanding without notes....any tips would be great!

- Aug 17, '11 by Connie1109It is a lot of reading but I still read everything because if the content is not discussed in lecture but it is included in the required reading then it is fair game for the exam. Every question does count so the more prepared the better I guess. I have heard of people who don't read for the classes but just look at the powerpoints. But for me I just read because I don't want to get a suprise on the exam. Hope this helps! Good luck this semester
