Practicum on a Progressive Care Unit

Hi, I would like some advice on how to prepare for practicum on a Progressive Care Unit. The way my school is structured I have not been in a hospital clinical setting in over a year, which makes me feel very nervous. I am currently working as a CNA in long term care. I have taken an ECG interpretation class and I recently got my ACLS certification.

Any advice on ways to prepare myself for practicum? What types of patients are most common on a PCU? What is a 12 hour shift like on a PCU? Does anyone have a good brain sheet designed for telemetry patients? Are there any tools, websites, or books you could recommend?
