Hi I'm a first year nursing student. I'm wondering that someone could help me with the reflection. " You are a registered nurse working at an acute care hospital serving a suburban community in the Midwestern United States. The hospital develops a new disaster preparedness plan involving hospital staff in conjunction with the community. Employees are expected to read the new policy plan and sign a form indicating their understanding and readiness to participate in disaster drills and actual disaster situations. One nurse tells you, " It's too busy on this unit for me to read all these details. I'll just sign the form." What action(s) should you take, if any? Why or why not?
