Hello everyone. I need help on a project for school that's mainly graded on creativity. I have to pick any diseases of the neurological, musculoskeletal, endocrine, urinary, reproductive, or gastrointestinal system or disorders of the accessory organs or sexually transmitted diseases. I basically have to find a creative way of describing it. Unfortunately for me creativity is not my strength. Any ideas, your help would greatly be appreciated.
Thank you

Just a thought:
But maybe you could do something like a CVA. You could pasta or a straw or something to that effect to represent an artery, maybe get some little strings or something to be the capillaries. You could get something to act as the hardening & blockage of the artery leading to ischemia & necrosis.
I have a mind that has to think like this to learn disease processes. If you have any more ideas that you might need help with you can PM me! Hope I can help, I know how stressful it can be!

I find when starting a project that requires 'creativity' it's best to do something that you like. So my first question is which of those area's do you like the best? When doing these projects I also like to study something that's a bit off main stream, but still something that I can use.
It sounds like you are a bit overwhelmed by this project, am I correct in assuming this? Break it down into parts. First select which system you'd like to study. Then make a list of diseases that you'd like to research. Pick one, and learn about it. Then comes the creative part. Dont' worry it will come :wink2:

When I was in school to get my CNA we had to draw a body system from a hat. I hated what our group got (the endocrine) and our presentation was boring! But one group got the gastrointestinal system and one of the students had a white T-shirt where she drew the esophogus, stomach, gallbladder, pancreas, intestines, etc. It was really cute and the teacher loved it.

Thank you all for your help. The CVA idea is a great idea. Again I think you all for your help.
I again appreciate all of you for your input. Earlier I thought about doing CVA however my instructor discouraged me from doing it so now I am positive I am doing it on diabetes. Any more help is welcomed.
Thanx again.
