Is anyone a member of Phi Theta Kappa? I joined last semester and I received an offer for two $5000 scholarships from colleges in my state. I was wondering about some of the other benefits Phi Theta Kappa may offer.

I would contact the chapter at your school then and see why?

I was in PTK back in school. They keep sending me apps for credit cards w/ their name and logo on them. I mean it's only for 2 yr colleges, and I graduated 3 years ago. How long do they think people attend two-year colleges?
It was nice, however, to wear the special PTK adornments w/ my graduation cap and gown, and to be able to put PTK on my resume.

To get into PTK you have to be recommended by at least 2 of your teachers. You also have to have a 3.5 GPA to get in and maintain a 3.0 to stay in the club.

I am a member of PTK, if nothing else it looks great on my resumes. I didn't really participate alot, and yes I get the occasional mail from them. And it is on your diploma.
