On the first try. I was so worried after reading all of the horror stories. I still havent learned my lesson not to listen to every groan people make and internalize it. If you understand patho, you can figure out the appropriate response to things you've never even heard of before. Understand the WHY behind things (it's impossible to memorize everything in nursing), answer NCLEX questions (they expose you to a broad range of topics that you may not have covered in class) and read the rationale of why the right answer was the best one.

Congrats!!! I take it May 21st. There are lots of horror stories but I will just focus on me and what I need to do to pass on the first try.
