OT: engagement rings during clinicals?

How many of you wear your rings during clinicals? My e-ring sits up pretty high and I'm always hitting it. i'm afraid this will be a problem once school actually starts. Should i just stop wearing it once clinicals start?

I will be getting a cheaper flat band. My pretty rock will stay in the box some place safe for all the times I am in clinical.

If I were to get engaged, I would want something simple. I don't wear jewelry from back when I was on a fire dept. I can see going for a wedding band, but it would be one that I could easily and afford to replace should I lose it.

On the flip side, I am also the girl who would not mind flying to Vegas to get married by Elvis instead of shelling out thousands for a standard, typical wedding.
