  1. This is a discussion on Online BSN program while doing ADN program in General Nursing Student, part of Nursing Student ... I do not know whether this question has been asked before on this board, but I am wondering if...

    I do not know whether this question has been asked before on this board, but I am wondering if there is an online BSN program one can do simultaneously while doing their ADN prgoram. I have checked my schools ADN program, and they are not connected with any universities where this can be probable. Someone please reply. Thanks!!!

    It is my understanding that online BSN programs require you to have your RN first.

    like the other poster said, most require that you complete your associates first. You may want to contact the school as they are the only ones with the answer.

    Please do not take this the wrong way... If you want to be a nurse, then stop looking for shortcuts! The path to getting your BSN is supposed to be tough and taking shortcuts will not get you where you want to be.

    I have only ever known of one online prelicensure BSN program and it was done away with years ago.

    What you are looking for is a traditional BSN program

    some programs allow you to enroll with a semester of ADN left, or after graduating but before getting your license. you will just have to look around...I know I didn't yet have my license when I started univ of wyoming online rn-bsn, but don't know if they still do that.

    We can get our ban through university of Memphis online after we graduate with ADN and it takes 1 year. I don't know about simultaneously... Good question! : )
