Hi every1..Im in my first semester in Nursing and was wondering if any1 has any old N1 exams to help me study and get a feel of whats in store for me...thnx

I would suggest that you purchas NCLEX books to practice. Old exams, I don't think, will do you much good.

is there a nursing school out there that allows students to keep copies of tests?

i guess they could be stolen but i wouldn't want to be the one caught with a copy of an old exam.

nclex review book is definitely the way to go.

As far as I know, we don't get to keep our exams.

They shred our exams afterwards...

try going to your schools acedemic resource center (tutoring) they usually have practice test. Unfortunately, not all professors allow copies to be kept.

Have you tried checking out the website for the book you are using? A lot of times they have sample questions that you may find helpful.

I think they put our old tests under lock and key :) When we get to review our tests, we cannot have any thing on our desks. I guess they're afraid that we'll copy questions or something. I wouldn't want to be caught with one.

Ditto at my school.

Thats what the security guard is REALLY for.. if they see you walking out with a nursing exam the national guard gets called in!

Seriously though.. ours cracked down hard on taking tests out :( He said if he didnt get ours back hed take us to the dicipline committee and recommend we get turned to "bad standing" :o

all of our major test are on computer. Before we take a test we have to sign a confidentiality form and if caught sharing info we can be kicked out. They consider this a very serious offense. But some people just have to cheat. We had some students dismised because they did not turn in there standard precaution test. The very first test we had. That was so stupid.
