Does anyone know what needs to be done if you are earning your lpn license in one state but plan to relocate to another state? Do you have to retake the entire course all over again, in the state you're relocating to??
Thanks for your time.

When you finish taking the LVN course- you can sign up to take nclex-pn for any state- you just have to contact that state's board of nursing. The liscensing exam (NCLEX-PN) is the same nationwide- so all you have to do is pay your fees for the PN exam, and pay and fill out the stuff for the liscence in the state you want. It seems wierd, but you can test for a florida liscence in Alaska or Tennessee, it doesn't matter. To find the address for the states, I think they are available on Nursing Net's web site- Good Luck, and I hope this helps, if not, let me know and I'll try to be more clear.
