Need advice on supplemental certification programs

Hi everyone - I'm new here so I hope I put this in the right forum.

So I'm at that point in school where I have to make the decision on whether or not to go for a certification program to supplement my nursing degree. My school offers both a Forensic Health Science Certification and a Transcultural Nursing Certification.

I'm a little bit unclear as to what they are for exactly, and does anyone know if these certification programs are useful, and how? I tried googling and searching the forums but I can't seem to find the answer.

Thanks everybody~!!
