Starting nursing school in the fall. What are some good nclex books I can use to start practicing questions? I've heard about Kaplan stragetegies, practice and review book but it doesn't have a lot of questions. I've always heard about ati but don't know anything about it. What books has helped you?

  3. My program used ATI and provided the books to us during 1st semester. The NCLEX resources that I found most helpful for my learning style were the Pearson Reviews and Rationales series. I have the all-inclusive latest edition:

Hogan, MaryAnn's Pearson Reviews & Rationales: Comprehensive Review for NCLEX-RN (2nd Edition) (Reviews & Rationales Series) 2nd (second) edition by Hogan, MaryAnn published by Prentice Hall [Paperback] (2011): Amazon.com: Books

And also several of the others (OB, Peds, Pharmacology). I would suggest that you flip through a few different ones in the bookstore and see which ones are easiest for you to use. I also had Mosby's and did not like that one at all.

  4. I really liked Illustrated Study Guide for the NCLEX-RN Examination by Zerwekh and Claborn
