    Glad you took time to think about it. I think everyone needs animals but I also don't think it would be fair to the dog while you will have such a big committment with school. And I know that from experience! Like I said before, I don't work and I'm only gone on my clinical day but I feel horrible for not being able to play with my dog during the day. On my clinical day I'm lucky enough to have a brother who comes and lets him out. I just don't think it's right to let the dog hold it for more than 6 hours. Most people will argue it because they will hold it as long as they have to but the way I look at it is I would never make it 6 hours without going myself so why is it fair to make him wait. He will sit and bark at me trying to get attention while I'm trying to read and I get so mad, but then, it's my fault, he just wants attention. At least wait until after the first semester to decide if you think you can handle it or not.
