Math for Meds practice??

Hey everyone! I am currently doing a Math for Meds book. And although it is going really well, I feel like I need way more practice. I think I am psyching myself out a bit :uhoh3:

Does anyone have any practice advice? Perhaps a link to a good site to do a zillion dosage calculations, IV flow rate, etc practice problems?

Thanks everyone!

Did you get the cd with your book? I hear it has a lot of review. Have you actually started the math part in your class yet? Because I was stressed until today, we had our first lecture covering the math for meds material and the teacher broke it down very well. We did about 4 hours for the math and reading labels today and I am very confident that I know what I am doing. Maybe I caught on because I stressed out so much a head of time. I am no math pro and i got it quickly, so have faith in your self-- don't stress over it..

Good Luck.

We just finished our Med Math module yesterday. Here's one of the practice link our professor gave us. I found it very helpful. Good luck!

Hope this works.

Thanks Heidi...yeah I did get a CD, and I have only popped it in once so far. But it does have plenty of practice questions so that will be a good start! I haven't started classtime with the material yet so hopefully that helps me as much as its helped you!

Thanks, Erin

Hey Sharona..the link didn't work for me! It just brings up a page that says the page requested isn't found. Thanks anyway!

these previous posts have links to dosage calculations problems. i can't vouch for all the web sites still being active since these posts are a few months old:

Hi Erin,

Daytonite sure got it right on her post. Her first of three was the one I was referring to. Sorry about that. Just a novice on computer skill ugh!
