How about these: Self-care deficit, nausea, impaired mobility (short term), Knowledge Deficit r/t post-surgical care or newborn care or infection prevention, Fatigue.

    Hope these help.

James, do you know that helping you come up with a few NDs is one thing, but actually giving you "done care plans" is cheating?? You're not the only one "under the gun", ya know...yet somehow we muddle thru.

Do yourself AND your patients a favor and invest in a good care plan book. Then use the danged thing.

How is it cheating??? There should be standardized care plans.. the whole point of a care plan is to provide the best care possible.. Why not make care plans that everyone can use..??

The whole point of care plans is that they are INDIVIDUALIZED to the patient. Having standardized plans will not help one to provide the best possible care. Do the work now so that you can be one of those people who can just roll them off with ease.

Look up the interventions for those with surgery (specifically C-sections). See what fits your patient. I agree with the others so this is all I will post. GL. :spin:

A nursing diagnosis has to be approved by NANDA so no that wouldn't work.

People. . .this is a thread from October of 2005. No doubt, the student has long ago (3 years, in fact) solved the problem, by now. Any new questions about a care plan for a C-section patient?
