siiiiiiiiiiiiiiighhhhhhhhhhh....well I made an 84 (which is a B) on my lecture test. Has anyone else gone this route and then made better grades as you went along? I need some reassurance here. I know this is really pitiful for me to be moaning about this but I wanted to do a little better. I mean I think an 86 would not have been so bad. Am I crazy here?:p

MelH, I think a B is GREAT!!!

We have to get an 87 for a "B" !!

If you got a "B" on your first test I think you are doing great! :balloons:

Started out like this??? What the heck is wrong with an 84??? You PASSED!!! We have to make a 75 on EVERY test to continue in the program, so that is the goal for most people.... You will learn NOT to stress over grades.... We would all love to make A's all the way through nursing school and it CAN be done, but it is few and far between..... I was 2pts away from having an A in Nursing 1, but I was happy with my B, especially after we lost 10 people in our class...

I just remember what a "old" nurse told me C=RN, B=RN, A=RN.... in the end we will all be just a RN ;)

c=rn

that's all i'm concerned about. :chuckle

congratulations, mel! you have done a great job and keep up the great work!

Oh Mel! You have the same disease that I have!!! I am happy with my children as long as they try & pass a class. I set a whole different standard for myself! I have cried over Bs before. I am terrified of a C. We will just have to keep studying & understand that nursing classes are difficult & we may not make an A every time. We will be fine & all that really matters is that we graduate. Good Luck!

Lisa :)

thanks everybody~!! I needed to hear all of your encouraging words!!!

After each test the instructor goes over all the questions and gives the "correct" answers !!

When we walk out of that class for the last time, WE know all the right answers no matter what grade we receive, that's how I'm beginning to see things.

:eek:

Honey in nursing school Bs are great!!!!It is hard, I remember. By the time I finished I said I would be happy with Cs and let me outta here! LOL. I see alot of nurse students get caught up wanting only As. Doesn't happen with many especially if your balancing a life besides school. Hats off on the great grade!

You will laugh when you read this! OUr nursing class had 500 people in it!!!!!!!!!!Our grades were posted on the wall of the classroom under our ss#. You could not get an ounce of attention if you were dying in the hallways bleeding.......they never gave the correct answers. Did not even know which ones you missed.....
