Gosh, I don't know about anyone else....but my energy level is down the tubes this past week. I know I have to get used to being back in school, but I am just totally wiped out (mentally and physically). I started taking my vitamins again, so hopefully that will give me a little boost.
What's everyone else doing to keep from running themselves into the ground?

I'm starting school tomorrow so I don't know if this is going to work, but I'm on my second week of healthy eating, lots of water, vitamins and daily exercise. I feel much better so far by just cutting out all the junk. I hope this energy lasts me through school!
Good Luck!

I know exactly how you feel! I started on the 27th and I've been wiped out between getting up at 6am, going to class, and studying. I need more energy! Anybody have any recommendations for vitamins that keep you going through the day? I need to lose some pounds so I'm going to start incorporating exercise into my routine 3-4 times a week. Anybody else??

I too would like to know what vitamins anyone could recommend, my boyfriends mother gave me some womens ultra, something along those lines, but its a horsepill! And I hate to admit it, but im HORRIBLE at swallowing pills, I gag and the whole nine yards. But I dont think the little children gummy bear vitamins would cut it...

I know what you mean -- I am wiped out. I finished my first semester a few weeks ago and start up my second semester next Monday and I have to read a few hundred pages before class even starts on top of quizzes. So basically we had one week off between the semesters. I honestly started thinking I was anemic toward the end of my first semester because I was THAT tired. I go running every night and eat fairly well and I am still tired.
Joy's of an accelerated BSN program.
The only small vitamins I have found are from Wal-Mart, their brand. They are multivitamins, smaller than an M&M.
CVS also has a small multivitamin....that's the brand that I am currently taking.
I have hard time swallowing big horse pills (they get stuck in my throat and start melting, and make me gag)!! These small vitamins go down really easy.

I take One A Day "All Day Energy", but they are fairly big. You could probably just buy the Guarana in a capsule or pill, the label says it is a seed. It is an extended release formula of the seed ground to a powder and mixed with caffeine. You would need 200 mg a day according to the label. It works for me, and it doesn't mess with my sleep at night. I guess it wears off on me about 8:00p. It keeps me going through 6:00a wake up and getting a 10, 13, & 14 year old up and out the door. Class at 8:00 or 9:00a depending on the day 6 hours of class a day M, T, W, and clinical Friday. Then I have homework help for my 2 youngest and dinner to cook and studying to do until about 10:00 or 11:00p. It does help that I sleep from 11:00p to 6:00a!
