Leukocytosis


what are medical/nursing interventions for leukocytosis??
I have looked in to my medical dictionary, medical/surgical nursing and webs but I could not find any useful info about Leukocytosis's interventions.

So, please help me? thank you very much.

Do you know why is this patient having leukocytosis? is there an underlying condition causing it? like bacterial or viral infection? or maybe cancer? then you can formulate your diagnosis and iterventions based on that.

This is a new pt (admission with generalized weakness, bandemia, history of hypertension, diabetes mellitus) that all I know.

Look for interventions relating to infection/infection control, especially with her DM.
