I really need some help with this case study! I got stuck half way through, I'm not familiar with orders necessary and I dont know how to tell if these orders are appropriate or not. Please help I'm not sure where to begin. I'm thinking this patient could be septic in which case the orders are appropriate, running cultures and administering the primaxin for the infection, and tylenol for the fever. Tell me what you think.

43-year-old female patient diagnosed with acute myeloblastic leukemia. On the fifth day of continuous infusion of Cytarabine, she developes a fever of 38.6. Her vitals: BP:110/54, HR:115, RR:26 T: 38.6. The nurse notifies the intern on duty, who evaluates the patient and writes the following orders: blood cultures X2 sites; Tylenol suppository 650 mg PR Q4-6hrs prn;Primaxin 500mg IVPB Q8hrs; notify MD of T > 38.5.

Do these orders seem appropriate form this patient?
