Hi! Right now I'm taking some leftover prereqs I need to get into the LPN to RN program. I work the night shift, so on my nights off I usually study, while my family is sleeping. I'm finishing up Soc 205, I'll be officially done Sept 4th, then this fall I'm taking Microbiology online at the community college here and maybe Intro to Music History of Rock.

Anyone else study late, late at night?

Specializes in Geriatrics/Alzheimer's.
I notice you're in Ore, what CC are you attending?

Hi! I'm attending Clackamas Community College for the Microbiology and Music History class, this coming fall 04. Right now, I'm taking the Soc 205 at Portland Community College. I live and work in Portland, OR. I love this city!!!

Love the late night studying! Just wish I could sleep late the next day! :chuckle

Specializes in Telemetry, Stepdown.

I'm a night person so studying at that time works well for me.

Specializes in ER, ICU, Cardiac, Med-Surg.

I am at my most productive (and even creative) later at night. I've been known to go on a cleaning binge at what my dh would consider an odd hour. I've also done my share of late night studying. It is usually the only time my house is quiet! My problem is that I tend to stay up too late and have difficulty getting up the next morning. Unfortunately, most of the world is on the day shift.

I am more productive at night, but b/c of work & clinical (which we will have to report to at 6:30 am this fall) I have to keep on days. I have to learn how to be a morning person this fall! My ideal time to wake up is 9 or 10am, but of course that never happens!

I am such a night person. I do most things at night. I study the best at night and work better at night as well. So come this fall I will be studying and working the night shift! Glad to know I am not the only one who's up :clown:
