I saw on the other post that you are going to be going to CNM school at Frontier. Where is that at? I am wanting to be a CNM as well and I am looking for a good school to go to. Any suggestions?

Suzanne

Frontier runs the CNEP (community-based nurse-midwifery education program) program, and it is located in Kentucky. The program is done almost entirely in your own community, with a couple of weeks at the beginning of each section done at the school in Kentucky. It is really flexible and allows you to stay in your own community (or I'd have to move to be a midwife -- something I don't really want to have to do). Two of the CNMs that I saw for my second birth did the program and rave about it, and all of the LMs here do too.

You can find out more here: http://www.midwives.org/home.htm

Hope this helps! :)
