Just found out that I have a job waiting...

  1. I precepted in an ER in B-ham and expressed my desire to work there when I graduate. On my last day the nurse manager came to me and said that I would indeed be hired and that they wanted to get me started orientating as soon as I graduate! I am so excited! I am going to be an ER nurse :hatparty: Good luck to all!!!

How fantastic for you!! Congratulations! I'm glad that your dream of becoming an ER nurse is coming true. They must be very impressed with your skills and work ethic.

Well, don't forget that you will need to pass the NCLEX. You don't want what happened to Emilysmom to happen to you. She had a dream job and failed NCLEX. Now she has lost her job. So take the time to pass NCLEX and then go to your job.

Congratulations!! It seems as though you were "hand-picked" and they have been watching you during your clinicals. You will do great!! The nurse manager has talent and a "know how" to see which student is going to be a great nurse! I wish you the best and keep us posted!!

Congratulations! Take the job now, don't wait to pass the nclex. Some hospitals will even pay for you to take the nclex. I just started as a Nurse Tech at a local hospital & they of course are recruiting my fellow students & I to be graduate nurses upon graduation in December. They have offered us not only paying for the nclex exam, but giving us paid time off to study for it, a $1500 sign-on bonus & even a $250 gift certificate to go buy scrubs. Start getting the nursing experience now.
