Hey, I'm new to the forum. I will be graduating from ASU with my BSN in August. Last week I received an email from an instructor which focused on joining the SRCOSTEP program through the USPHS, while working in the prisons. Apparently, the deal is they begin to pay a salary while the student finishes their last year of school and then the student owes them twice as many months as they received a paid salary. Working in prisons is something that sounds interesting enough to me. But before signing up for anything, I'd definitely like more information. I'm having difficulty finding concrete figures comparing pay between this type of work and the the private sector. If anyone has any feedback that would be very much appreciated.
Thanks, in advance!
