job fair tomorrow, only level 3, should i go?

i posted this on the texas thread but noone's biting yet. there's a recruitment fair at my college tomorrow, i'm a level 3 student who is definitely a pediatric nurse, i have my sights set on the NICU or PICU but peds med-surg would be great also. i don't graduate until dec 09, is it too early to go? what should i wear? (my city is a super-casual easygoing place, it can be easy to overdress and look like a dork) but i don't want to underdress either. i was thinking of going and looking around, get a feel for it you know, say things like, "hi i'm 13goingon30 and i'm looking forward to pediatrics what can i do while still in school to get my foot in the door?" is that too silly sounding?

very out of my element with all of this, first time in the skilled labor, people actually want to hire me thing, and i don't want to take the first thing thrown at me willy-nilly
