I am starting the program in the fall 2009 too. are you ready for the HESI. I bought the book online. did u register for ur classes? if so, what section did you choose?

i bought the book at barnes and noble, i just started studying. i have not registered to take it yet. i heard its not too difficult. i did not register for classes yet because by the time i was done with all the financial aid paper work, the 90 spots at miami shores campus were full so i have been place on a waiting list i have been sooo depressed about this whole situation. so i am probably going to apply for the baptist scholars thing, which i really do not want to drive all the way to kendall from aventura everyday but hopefully a spot opens up because i am 3rd on the waiting list. did you register yet?

wow, I hope you get accepted but driving from aventura to kendall is really far. Just jeep praying so that one spot is open just for you. I already registered, I actually took bio-medical ethics, theology and an art class last semester which are required to graduate at barry. Now I'm on vacation, I took the summer off and ready to start that program.

No I took summer off since I have no more classes to take, I already took the 3 classes that are required to graduate at barry.

I pray everyday! 30 people are in the same position I am, I guess they accepted to many people. I am taking the arts classes now at FIU, I was planning on doing the Bio-Med. ethics class during my first semester at nursing school. How was that course?

Bio-med ethics was a not that hard, you just have to study a lot. I got a B (wanted an A). He knows how to teach, he's old( don't let that fool you) and intelligent. He is not boring. Or you can take this other professor since there's only 2 professors teaching that class at the main campus. If you take it with my professor, you will learn a lot. This class is basically about the rights of the patients, the nurses, physicians, fraud at the hospitals, the penalties and much more.. At the beginning we had covered some philosophers.

I don't know yet, I'm waiting for my HESI Review book so I can start studying. We have until July 31st to take that test. I also need to do those medical stuff before it's too late. well just take the class on a day when you only have one class in that day. Just focus, pray and you'll do fine. By the way, did you the theology class already? If not let me know. I took it already.

No I didn't, They told me that I needed an upper division humanities elective as well as an arts...which i am taking now at FIU.. Is that an upper division course in Theology?

yes, it is. theology is required to graduate at barry. I have the same couselor as you, you should check the paper which has the list of the classes you are missing. Or maybe you took a religion class before.
