How about a thread that will allow us to introduce ourselves to those who are new and the new students can do the same.

I am Stephany, 42, mother of 3 children, a son 22, a daughter 15, and a son 13. I am an LPN of nearly 11 years, and I am in my first semester of a five-semester rn program.

Nice to meet you Stephanie and Chris. Hello everyone. I've been looking at this site for months and I finally decided to join in. My name's Sheree, 25, no kids, and I will be continuing pre-reqs for my BSN degree starting this summer. I am a second degree student with a BS in Computer Info Systems. I'm also a certified pharmacy technician. This site seems very informative and I have learned so many things from reading these posts. My future plans are to gain nursing experience and become a nurse anesthetist.

Greetings all! I am Kristin, 32 years old, single, no kids (cat and dog count though, right?) just finishing up my stint in the US Air Force and looking at an AcBSN at either Loyola, Rush, or Mt. St. Mary's. Any and all advice is welcome. :)

Hi all, I have been reading this board for a long time and never had the guts to sign up...

I am Jan, age 36, I have one little girl age 3 and 2 doggies...(I am married)...I currently live in Co., but will soon be moving to Austin, Tx, do to my husbands job transfer...

I am a part time student completing my pre-reqs...

I have had to take some time off with this move, I am very frustrated with this. It took me along time to get back to school and I completed 5 classes and found out about the move...since the date of the move is pending on the sale of our home, I can't go to school incase we move mid semester...

I feel I am going backwards, I want to restart class as soon as we get to Austin, but with residency and all I am struggling between the additional cost and just wanting to cont. school...

anyway, just wanted to say hi
