Hi all, I have been reading this board for a long time and never had the guts to sign up...
I am Jan, age 36, I have one little girl age 3 and 2 doggies...(I am married)...I currently live in Co., but will soon be moving to Austin, Tx, do to my husbands job transfer...
I am a part time student completing my pre-reqs...
I have had to take some time off with this move, I am very frustrated with this. It took me along time to get back to school and I completed 5 classes and found out about the move...since the date of the move is pending on the sale of our home, I can't go to school incase we move mid semester...

I feel I am going backwards, I want to restart class as soon as we get to Austin, but with residency and all I am struggling between the additional cost and just wanting to cont. school...

anyway, just wanted to say hi

Hi there. First post for me.

My name is Claudia. I am 30 year olds and I have twin 6 year olds who were born at 27 weeks. They are my inspiration to wanting to be a RN. I am taking Micro right now, the last prerequisite for my CC. I also applied to San Jose State and will go wherever I can get in as all the programs in the area are very impacted. Hope to hear from others.

hi claudia...it seems as though you are a busy woman just as i am. i wish you much luck in finding a college that works with your schedule...excelsior distance learning has been great for me because i was able to go at my own pace and continue to take care of home and work. I also went through the problem of being on waiting lists for some time before making the decision to enroll with excelsior.
