I am a new member. Just registered tonight. WOW!!! Anyway, I am about to enter the second quarter of a six quarter ADN program. Absolutely love it! It does consume my life though. I am 26-years old. I am married to a wonderful man who gave me two beautiful boys, ages 6 and 3.

I wish all of you the best of luck. May we all graduate and be successful in our ventures.

Hope to check in once in awhile, but like others have written, I too have to read, read, and guess what? Read some more. I start clinical next quarter and I need to know my stuff!!!

    Hey,

My name is julee I currently work at a nursing home/rehabilitation center as an STNA, I have been married for five years, and my dh and I have been together for total of nine.
We have two ornery boys, Blake is going to be five next month and Braden is one.
I am 24, in a pre-ADN program and will start my ADN fall 2004.
By then I will have all of the basics out of the way, and I am finished with my prereqs, dosage calc and anatomy.

I actually started out at another college with three quarters left in marketing, but decided to choose another path.
I love my job, I just became an aide in March.
Although it is far from glamorous it is a stepping stone with many memories and a chance to make a difference in someone else's life, even if only for a short time.
I am glad I found all of you, and I hope we can learn from one another and BS with one another and let out frustration.

    sorry I am a talker...........

    Hi,
    My name is CJ. I'm a 40 yr old mother of two, step-mom of three: 15, 18, 19, 20, & 21. (also a 9 yr old kitty & a 5 yr old dog) I've completed my pre-reqs & the 1st semester of a 5 semester program. I'll hopefully graduate in May 2005. I started this venture after a bout with cancer in 2000 & my ump-teenth lay-off in 2002. It's time to do what I love, and make a living at it.
