Hi, I am a 28 year old mother of 2. My daughter is in 4th grade and a competitive gymnast (have to brag on her!). My son is almost 4 and is a future stunt man/cowboy/NY Yankee.
I just started college, going for my associate RN. I haven't been in school for 10 years, so it's a little overwhelming. I'm taking prerequisites right now and can apply for the nursing program in January.
Needless to say, between my son giving me heart attacks, playing chauffeur for my daughter, and STUDYING, I have little free time to pursue my hobbies. I'm pretty sure that once upon a time I enjoyed reading, horse-back riding, and going to the comedy club.
I live in Louisville, KY but plan to relocate to Arizona or Nevada once I graduate.

Hey there, I'm Shawna, 25, married 18 months and no kids. I am taking physiology, then microbio is next and then I can apply for the ADN program. I am used to getting A's but Physiology is killing me! My goal is to work as a civilian RN in an Army Hospital...granddad was a big Army hero in WWII but I never knew him, as he died in a plane crash coming home from the Europe theatre in 1945. Somehow I feel working in an Army hospital will bring me closer to him...I know, it sounds crazy but it's just something I have to do.

My hobbies include sailing, reading, being with my hubby, and just relaxing.

    God Bless.

I have been an LPN for 14 years and decided it was time for me to move ahead. It has been a real challenge trying to manage my family, job and school but I know it will be worth it in the end.
