    I'm an old student.

I'm Rebecca, 25 years old, no kids, in semester 3 of an ADN program. This means I'll finish up this May.
You are joking of course, 25yr old? old? You must need a walker just to get in the front door or the school. What do you think the average age of a college student is?

    Hi everyone!

My name is Stacee, I am 32 and I am in my 4th semester of nursing at Boise State University in Boise, ID. I will graduate with my ASN 12-06 (11 months), and should be having a date with NCLEX this time next year! We have an open door policy and are allowed to step out and licence after our 5th semester, and continue on for another 3 semesters for the BSN. I currently work on an oncology floor as a nurse apprentice.

I went to San Diego State for a few semesters and community college for a few semesters. Mostly, I've been a stay at home mom, but now that he's in school all day and I have afterschool care, It's time to finally get that education!!

Hi everyone, I have posted before but that was in the summer of last year and I haven't posted since. However I have been on here throughout this semester reading others thoughts and opinions. I am getting ready to start my second semester of nursing which I am very excited about. I'm a happily married 29 year old mother of one who is 7 years old. Right now I am in the process of trying to get hired as a nurse tech at one of the local hospitals. I look forward to us sharing the joys and woes of this journey together.

Hello! I am Natasha and I am a 33 year old prenursing student in San Antonio, TX, as of yesterday, when I paid for my first Anatomy and Physiology class at St. Phillips College. I am preparing to enroll for their LPN school this fall, which basically has open enrollment, the only prerequisites being you need your full series of shots, all previous college records (I have 1 year towards a chemistry associates under my belt) and an accuplacer test. I am taking the more in depth A&P courses this semester and next, so that I can get some momentum, lighten my fall and winter load next year, and hopefully be a little more ready for my LPN to ADN courses if I choose to do that when I complete the LPN school and test. I am very excited, as I have been wanting to go to nursing school for quite some time.

I have been lurking intermittently, as many of the google searches I run for different nursing topics come with subjects from here. Off to go read some more there is so much great info here...
