hi and congrats on your acceptance i was just wondering, since you are starting your bsn as a lpn, do you still have to do the full two years of nursing classes just like everyone else?

    Ummmmmmm, No you're not alone!
I just took my last final for spring quarter yesterday, and today read the first two assigned chapters for my first nursing class. Summer quarter begins my ADN program (the 21st) and I can hardly wait. Thank goodness it's only a week away!
Hope to spend next week cleaning and organizing in anticipation that I will soon have no time to do anything but study.
    Enjoy your summer!

I'm frustrated and excited at the same time...I'm still trying to find a way to get a free or reduced price for my initial Hep B shot. I have my first orientation and uniform fitting on July 7th. This has been a long time coming for me and I look forward to embarking on this new adventure with my classmates and my Student Nurse board mates.

I always felt that way going back to school the many times I've went back after a long break.

    Good luck to you!

But it never seemed to last long after the work set in.

Since my school doesn't have a "bridge" program anymore, I do have the full 2 years just like everyone else. I'll start in August of 2004 and finish in May 2007. Almost 3 years! :uhoh21:

Me, too! We just ordered our uniforms. They came and let us try on for size, so we had all just met each other, then an hour later we all go into a room and undress in front of each other. Well, hello! :imbar

I get to pick my own shoes, steth, and all that, so I'll be shopping around alot. I also got my fall schedule today.

I feel the same way. I just finished my CNA class (didactic portion) and we start our clinicals on Monday. My very first experience working with real live humans. It's starting to feel very REAL to me, and I'm very excited.

I think all of us "newbies" are feeling the same way!!! I am so excited and nervous about starting the fall semester (1 of 4 for ASN) that I am driving my hubby and kids crazy. I cannot wait to buy my scrubs, shoes, steth, etc...for now I am having fun window shopping! Good luck and congratulations to all the students starting up clinicals!
