originally posted by marlo2brn hi roxanne, new here too and glad i'm found this place. i'm about to go into my second year and i have to tell you i'm burnt out but in a good way! unfortunately i've had to take 3 classes every semester since starting the program. i didn't expect to get in and thought i had another year to get the prereq's out of the way...wrong! for myself the tough courses were a&p 1 & 2. i still have to take micro this fall and i'm not looking forward to it. i did discover on-line courses and love them! they're not for everyone but if you're disciplined and time restricted, i suggest trying them. try not to stress too much (easier said than done), you always find a way to do what you have to do. marlo

Roxanne,
I don't have a job outside the home, besides being a mom and we know that's 24/7. Although the 3 classes each semester is alot, it's not impossible!! Again, discipline and time management is important. I figure if I can do it, anyone can. I'm not the straight A student but this is something I want badly. It's also nice to have a good support system w/ family and friends. I know whatever you decide to do, you'll do well. Let us know how it goes!
Marlo :)
