I'm done!

  1. I can't believe that I'm done with nursing school! Our pinning ceremony was yesterday, and I just can't get over the fact that I won't be registering for classes, that I won't see my classmates every week anymore, and that I'm not a nursing student anymore because I'm a graduate nurse now!

I start my first nursing job on a Postpartum unit next month, and I'm so excited about it.

I kind of don't know what to do with myself now that I don't have five chapters to read and two tests to study for, though.

How was the pinning ceremony? And the million dollar question...caps or no caps?

    YEAH! Congrats!

I can't wait to be in a similar situation a few years from now. However, I am absolutely excited to live through the next two years due to the gifts (trials and good moments) they will bring. Good luck to you and don't forget you were a student once! :spin:

Congrats! We graduated 3 weeks ago. You do have a test you need to study for still :spin: . I had a little bit of sadness that it was all over. Sounds like you have a great job lined up, enjoy yoru breathing room.

My pinning ceremony was beautiful. When we started lighting our candles and reciting the nurses' prayer I started to cry. I'm really happy and a little sad at the same time. Our class was pretty small, and we're also pretty close. I can't believe that we won't all be in a classroom together again, or at clinical, or in the hall after a test. But we're nurses now and that's wonderful!

And as for that one last test, I'm giving myself until next Monday off from studying. After that, my nose will be back in my books.
