OK, I've been out of school now for almost two weeks now and I am soooooo bored!! I'm excited about tomorrow being Christmas, but lets get on with school!! I am so used to studying (that's "have to" studying!! LOL!) that it's a really hard habit to get out of!! I start winterim (4 week semester) on the 7th so hopefully that will help with the boredom!!

How about anyone else?

I am bored too, but I am ENJOYING being bored :)

I am heading home today to see my parents, then traveling to IL to see my fiance's parents. I am sure they will put me to work once i get there working on their computers. Plus a combination of 10 hours in a car over the next 2 days. Then I will be home for a day, and back to my parents to visit since I havent been home for a long period of time for quite a while. I cant wait!

I know that once you get into school-mode, it is hard NOT to study! But this is my last break before I graduate in May, and then I will be working fulltime, and wont have time to be bored again :) Enjoy the break!

Shoot! I know I'd rather be in school! All the baking and cleaning and kids home on THEIR break! C'mon school!

Then to top it all off, we just "inherited" our 9 y/o "behavior-challenged" niece...

AND.... a sick husband, and a sick 7 y/o...

AND....in-laws and grown children coming over tonight for Christmas Eve get togethers, complete with gift exchanges and food in the living room...

Yes... Bring school back! I AM READY!!!!!:p

Merry Christmas everyone!!!

I can not wait to get back to uni, even if it is to face exams! The sad thing is that I have not had much time off for Christmas, my term ended on the 21st of December and I have to be back at Uni ready to start work on the 7th of January!

Two whole weeks off and I am bored, what will I do with my self in my three week break over the summer?

I'm bored already, too. I can't believe I can't wait for school to start again.

We had our big family thing at my house over the weekend. At least the house is still semi-clean. ;) Disneyland was awesome; that was by far the highlight of my vacation.

On a different note, I think that nursing school has officially killed my immune system. I have my third nasty cold *in a row* now; this latest one just came on in the past few days and is the worst one yet. It seems like I just start getting over one (in like 10 days!) and another one comes on. I've never been this sick for this long in my life!! :o :o Too much stress!

Damn! I need to get back to school too. I am so bored and although I have to read up on microbiology I am still bored as I have not gotten my book list as yet.

Wow! I need to go back to school! I can't wait!

I just got home 3 days ago and I'm already bored! I live at school so not only do I miss having tons of stuff to do, I miss all my friends!!! I"m homesick, the opposite way around. I'm excited to start my first clinical next semester and can't wait to go back to school. Classes for me don't start till January 20th, so I have a long way! I'm going to go NUTS!

Well, everyone enjoy your Christmas or Holiday Break!

I'm going to try to!

I have been pretty bored too but I am going to do some cleaning so I can bring in the New Year with a clean home and clothes washed and everything and then I am going to concentrate on passing my state boards and then working full time in the Emergency Room at my job (hopefully). I will return to college and get my Masters degree and then I do not want to see another classroom that I have to sit in to do classwork....lol....I have to do 5000 questions before my college will release my paperwork to take my boards so I will be pretty busy as I have done 2000 already I need 3000 more....Brandy, which part of IL are you traveling as I live in Chicago?....Take care everyone and have a happy holiday :D

I thought what an interesting topic..LOL We all BEG for time off (myself

included) and once we get it we want to be back in school!! So 2 months

from now when each of us is overwhelmed and stressed out...we need to remember this thread and laugh!!! You know by then we will be looking

forward to spring break!

I too have been out for 2 weeks...my response to the end of each semester

for the last almost 4 years is to get sick..and I did..I have a cold!!

I have also been spending a lot of time with my family. I thought post semester would be a relaxing bit of free time..wrong! I have done nothing but run! Now this week has actually slowed down and I am going nuts! I have a house to clean and organize before Jan 14th, a couple good books to read and I am working PRN....but I am bored!!

So I guess I join this bored group and will stay that way until Jan 14th when I happily begin my final semester!!!!!

Thanks for letting me share!

What a sick bunch we all are! LOL :) :)

I thought I was the only one bored to death and ready to have something new to study instead of watching reruns on tv! I know I should be cherishing this downtime but it is HARD! :p

OK....today is it!! I take out my "next semester" books and get a head start on next semester!! Maybe....but there are soooo many good sales going on....and lifetime has sooo many good movies on......and gotta catch up on this forum...and ...and......

Hmmmm...guess I'm not as bored as I thought! But I do plan on breaking out the micro book and pharm book this week. Those are the two hardest subjects that I've got this coming semester. Still can't wait to get back to school though!

Hope everyone had a good holiday and has a safe new year!
