Part of my clinical experience includes that I apply the material from
the basic computer course (work in Windows, use a word processor, use
the internet, and perform file management).
During orientation, my preceptor has told me that staff do not have access
to computers on the unit.
What ways can I demonstrate these learning outcomes for the clinical?
Maybe I could ask the preceptor for her email (assuming that she has a computer at home), and then send her some Word documents, include some material found on the internet?
Any ideas?

Print off some articles pertaining to an interesting illness one of your patients has or a new drug you've given and take them in for discussion.

Don't you process your pathophys and care plans on the computer? Or create a data collection or hand-off sheet and share it with your preceptor.
Neither staff nor students on the unit have computer access (the only people who can use the computers are the in-charge person and the unit clerk).
