Hello guys ive been posting a lot here and is good to see how everyone supports each other and dont judge you or attack you . im writing this with tears in my eyes because i might be getting kicked out of the program for failing my AP 2 class twice , today was my final and even doe i studied for almost 3 weeks straight no going out , no family gatherings missed my bday , no dating, no social media went to all the tutorings , i failed . I feel like my life is ending and i'm sorry for the drama but i feel like im not good enough , i dont have anyone to talk to because my friends tend to be a little judgmental and they will tell me to quit . several of my classmates failed and they dont care but i do , some suggested going to a different school. so right after my exam i met with the dean and she told me to write a appeal letter to let me do it again meaning if it gets approved i will be 3000 times more stressed about it because is my final attempt to this , she also told me she might help me to add concepts 1 so i don't stay behind . but it might be too much for me ... i think i can handle it but right now i don't know what is going to happen , i just cant stop crying and i wish my parents were alive to have someone to guide me and at least just tell me that everything is going to be ok .

Theres nothing you can really do now. If you still want to pursue nursing, find a different school and do everything in your power to pass your classes. If youre struggling with a concept, get help!!

Tackle it again if given the chance. If you are not successful, find another program. But whatever you do, get your head on straight and don't waste any more energy over the past. Constructively figure out what you need to change and make the change.

In addition to the above, also sit down and try to figure out why it was that you failed. Were your study methods effective for you? Everyone learns differently, so if you are someone who learns best by doing, spending hours reading textbooks isn't going to help you the most. Quality studying will trump quantity of studying- try taking a learning styles inventory. Was it an issue with test anxiety? Read up on methods for dealing with it. I know there's several university websites that will post information that is available to the general public, not just to their students, and these can be found with a Google search. Was it something else that some reflection can help you identify? Then you can brainstorm ideas to fix it.

Just keep you head up! It really sucks when you fail in something, that youve put so much time into, but it happens to the best of us.

Is this pre-req or nursing program?

You're not the only one out there who is/has gone though this. There is always a way if this is really wat you want to do with your life then you can do it. You can make it. You need to really buckle down and see what works for you in studying and see what path to take next.

This happened to me I got kicked out of my program the end of my 2nd year 4 semesters in. I ended up changing my major and completing a degree in something else. This didn't mean that i didn't want to be a nurse anymore because i still do i just found a different way to get there. Instead I am going to ABSN program now; well applying for them now.

Don't give up hope because if you really want this you will find a way trust me that's the truth. You have to push yourself and believe in yourself. Dont listen to your friends; push through. If you really want it the way i did you will find a way to make it work. I believe in you! Dont give up your dream; keep pushing forward and keep your head up. See your downfalls and change them; fix them.

Take a deep breathe. I promise you everything will be fine either way. But, I don't believe in regret or leaving anything on the table. So, lets figure out a way to give it all you've got. Can you outline your study methods? How many chapters are you tested on? how are you preparing? are you testing yourself after every session?

More importantly - do you understand the material prior to studying?
