The abnormal psych prof creeped me out, but that's a whole new post. I highly recommend ceramics. Do something fun and artistic that won't require a paper or reading.
Will you start a thread about this creepy Abnormal Psych professor? I am very curious. I may sound ignorant but, what is "Abnormal Psychology" involving. I kind of have a guess, but do tell!!

If your school offers one, I would take a course in Cultural Diversity. I had a course like that and it was a lot of fun. Some of it was on line, some in class time, and some actually doing a community project - I worked a couple of hours a week at the Boys and Girls Club. You learn a lot about the people and cultures in your community and it is helpful information you may be able to use in your practice. Good luck!

I took welding and scuba one semester to help me unwind from school. I didnt care what I got in either class and they were simply just for fun. And I ultimately got certified for scuba and can now burn some steel together

I vote you take a pottery class. It was my favorite class! There's almost no reading, no homework and throwing clay is very theraputic - relaxing. I still have the pieces I made.
