I am sorry no one replied to your post. I too have posted at times and feel my post has been ignored. Just give it some time, I think it is alot like meeting someone for the first time. They want to see how you will respond so they can get a feel for who you are.

I agree with StudentSandra and Julielpn, these boards are full of info and VERY ACTIVE.

Well, I am Donna, 30 years old with three girls and an ADN student.

    Welcome and have fun!

    Welcome Sandy!

Welcome to the boards. I didn't see your earlier post, and I'm sorry no one answered you the first time. If everyone elses semester has been like mine we haven't had a lot of free time.

Good luck in school. I would suggest shadowing a nurse and getting some experience in the health care field to get a feel for what goes on. I envy my classmates who have been CNA's or LPN's for their "hands on" skills. I go to them with my questions and they come to me with medication questions.

You will find a ton of support and resources here. Have fun!

Hi Sandy and welcome to the boards.

I don't think anyone intentionally ignored your first post.....it's just that most of us are in the midst of midterms and haven't posted much here, period. It always gets very quiet right around midterms and finals, but things should pick up again soon.
