How many semesters is your program?

I start my adn program this fall and am wondering how long other students programs last. My program will last 5 semesters, it seems short from what I've heard. Any input? How long was your program? If all goes well I'll graduate early 2013.

5 semesters; optional summer courses, but even with them there are some regulations that end only you to advance by 1 whole semester and all other work goes towards alleviating your course load for the following semester. Other BSN progams in the area are 4 semesters so it makes my program the odd nurse out. But I do like having the break between to gather my strength and wits.

My ABSN is apparently 2 and 1/2 semesters: A 7-week summer session, a fall and a spring! Then graduation :D Can't wait!!

Well, that flew by. I had not even started when I posted this. I have since graduated, passed NCLEX and now working as an RN on my own for 2 months now.

5 terms, 20 months part time LVN-ADN step up. One class per term until term 5, with this term being a full load.

My BSN program is 5 semesters long plus your 3 semesters of regular pre-req courses. in 4 weeks I will only have 4 semesters left yipee!! I should graduate December 2014 I really wish they would let us take summer courses though!

This thread came back, I guess! (:

I am in a BSN program, 4 years, 2 semesters per year...so, 8 semesters. I am a transfer student from a community college, so I needed 7 semesters at my current school. I have 5 more to go. yay.

You can cut the program time down if you take summer semester, which isn't required...but if you're willing to work hard to get your schooling done earlier, then it's worth it.

Ours is 5 semesters long, no summers. It's a BSN program with about 70 credits of other credits besides the actual program required.

Congrats
